An example hunt

What you get, and how the hunt actually plays out

This isn't your hunt — it's a finished one, made from three ordinary photos, so you can see the whole thing before you start.

Your photo becomes their map

Same place, illustrated. Your child sees only the picture on the right.

How it works, start to finish

  1. 1. Photograph your own places

The sofa, the shed, the toy box, the tree at the bottom of the garden. Five to fifteen spots your child knows by heart.

  2. 2. Add them and put them in order

Drag them into the order you'd like your child to visit, and give each one a name only you will see.

  3. 3. We illustrate every place

Each photo becomes an old quill-and-ink sketch on weathered parchment — the real place, but as though an explorer drew it centuries ago.

  4. 4. You get a print-ready pack

One picture per page for your child, plus a written guide for you showing where each card and the treasure is hidden.

  5. 5. Hide the clues & start the adventure

Use the guide in your pack to hide the clues and the final prize in the right places, then give your child Card 1 — or let them find it on their own for extra fun!

  6. 6. Your child follows the pictures

They recognise the shed on the card, run to it, and find the next card waiting there. No words, so no reading required.

  7. 7. The last picture holds the treasure

At the final place there is no next card — there's the prize you hid.
